Kate Moss

Croydon-born Kate Moss is one of the most famous British fashion models. Since her well-documented discovery at JFK airport by Sarah Doukas of Storm model management in 1988, Kate has appeared on the cover of every major fashion magazine in the world. This includes 17 covers of i-D and 30 covers of BritishVogue. Her seven-year association with Calvin Klein created some of the most definitive lifestyle advertising of the 90s. Following a break from modelling in the late 90s and the birth of her daughter in 2002, Kate’s presence in the fashion world is now stronger than ever. Her modelling credentials are, however, second to her grander status as an international style icon. She was i-D’s
i-Con in 2007, and the same year launched her first collection for Topshop, which proved to be a long-standing and highly acclaimed collaboration, ending in 2010. She has also designed a range of handbags for luxury goods house Longchamp since early 2010. Kate married musician Jamie Hince on the 1st of July 2011, and has just placed her grace on four i-D covers for our bumper Alphabetical Issue, kicking off 2013 with a big Kate bang. She’s the one and only.

    1. Absolument! I totally love your blog. I would also like to use some posts from your “Art” category for a big project on Art and Fashion. I will attribute all extracts to you with full links to your posts.
